The fundamental subject of this Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and its applications. It can be implemented to general purpose processors like PC or Digital Signal Process. The digital Signal processing basically involves processing of discrete samples of data. The high speed computers, Digital signal processing (DSP) operation like filtering, convolution, correlation, FFT are the main aspect of digital signal processing.
The first chapter introduce DSP and its scope of application. Signal and system are discussed in 2nd chapter. Third chapter introduces z-trnsform and its properties. It is while worthy that z-transform is used to analyze the discrete time system.
The fourth chapter is conserved with the design of digital filters. Various techniques of realization of discrete time system are presented in this chapter. Sixth chapter is concerned in digital filter design especially FIR and IIR Filters.
The Seventh chapter is concerned with the architecture and feature of DSP processors. The ADSP-21XX and ADSP-2106X are described.
Finite wordlength effect limit the performance of DSP syatems. It is the constituent of 8th chapter. Application of DSP is described in last chapter (Chapter 9). The implementation and result of theses programs are also discussed.
